I believe most of the principles mentioned in this book should be common knowledge and everyone should know and practice them. Personally, this book offered little in a way of fresh information, but still very useful.

I believe everyone should read this book. It can offer some insights, but be aware that it probably won’t change your perspective in a significant way.

The book offers some rather obvious principles, but they are very well structured. It’s a quick read, so I recommend going through it.

Here are some of my favourite principles:

• Remember that a person’s name is to that person the sweetest and most important sound in any language.
• Show respect for the other person’s opinions. Never say, “You’re wrong.”
• Get the other person saying “yes, yes” immediately.
• Talk about your own mistakes before criticizing the other person.
• Praise the slightest improvement and praise every improvement. Be “hearty in your approbation and lavish in your praise.”
